this past year i have gotten to experience the best internship ever created. this interning season has been full of so much freedom and growth and i can truly say that my life has been forever changed. God has used this time to teach me so much about himself and in turn who he created me to be. i will forever be grateful for this year, my NewSpring columbia family, my new community of interns, and @peteylee for creating this space for me to encounter more of the living God!

Wow, leading a group of well matured 6th grade boys was a blessing. Arise from the depths and lead the land that the Lord has called for us to take. Gauntlet 26 opened many new doors. God is good!!

Gauntlet 26, you continue to amaze me! Thank you Jesus for students that got to hear about you for the first time and for students giving their life to you! For students hungry for his presence and a relationship! A week of unbelievable filling and pouring! Witnessing lives changed and burdens laid down I will forever be grateful for the strength the Lord will continue to provide in these Kids!

As a graduating senior and three-time Student Senate Representative, I’ve seen firsthand what real future leadership looks like, and Jordan Cooper and Grant Hunter embody it. Some students think the University of South Carolina student government doesn’t matter.

They are wrong.

The Student Body President and Vice President at the University of South Carolina aren’t just titles; they are a direct line to the Board of Trustees, who decide student tuition, fees, and the overall campus experience. Your vote as a member of the University of South Carolina student body is not symbolic; it is a uniquely powerful reinforcement of the American democratic process.

Jordan Cooper, the President Candidate, and Grant Hunter, Student Body Vice President Candidate 2026, aren’t here to grab authority through popularity; they are a team that has risen to champion responsibility.

I have witnessed both of their growth, and I firmly believe they will make decisions rooted in the best interests of every student across our great state, not just our university campus.

They are both fully committed to expanding collaboration with sister institutions, uniting student governing bodies across South Carolina, and building bridges that may have been overlooked in the past.

Neither candidate is here to rewrite history. They are here to evolve it into a place where every student, resident or non-resident, gets a full, unforgettable four-year experience. They are championing taggable results: expanding parking access automation, uniting the Gamecock sports community with roll-over points by 25%, and strengthening the bond between Student Government and University Greek Life.

Together, these two are not rewriting the past. Still, they stand in agreement on building a future where every student, resident or non-resident, transfer student, or trade school technician gets a full, unforgettable four-year experience in pursuit of higher education on behalf of all students in South Carolina
