Eleven-year-old Oliver Pratt has spent nearly two years rallying support and raising funds to transform the controversial L-7 site on Quail Gardens Drive into Quail Gardens Park. Through selling golf balls and a GoFundMe campaign, Oliver has raised over $15,000 to help make his dream a reality. His dedication, along with the support of community members like Glen Johnson, led to a unanimous City Council vote on Feb. 26 to revert L-7 back to parkland instead of housing development.

With momentum on his side, Oliver now aims to raise $100,000 for park amenities, exploring creative ideas like a brick campaign where residents can purchase engraved bricks for the park’s design. His commitment to green space has inspired the community, proving that one determined voice can make a difference. Want to support Oliver’s mission? Visit his GoFundMe and help bring Quail Gardens Park to life! 🌳✨

9 years ago we climbed a mountain in the early morning mist and rain, I got down on one knee and @jrosepratt said “Yes!” just as the clouds parted to reveal Machu Picchu . Life has had it’s share of mountains and valleys, rain and shine, and ups and downs. But there is no one I’d rather be traveling this road with. Love you!

Good times good crew! Nearly 20 years of friendship and picked up lovely wives and kids along the way but we’re still rocking it when we can.
