I did it 🥹 #300club

I did it tired. After recruiting all day long. On little food.

I walked in and almost left because the deadlift event was over and I would be the only one deadlifting.

The people talked me into staying, and they showed out all the way for me - helping me pull a personal record! 😭 @ohiovalleybarbell’s community is truly unmatched!

Time for a full spend on November 15! 😤

315 lbs. A new PR. A night I didn’t even know how badly I needed. 🖤💪🏼

I went into tonight not expecting to pull anything, MAYBE attempt 250… instead, I hit a new deadlift PR of 315 lbs and beat my previous best of 303.

But somehow, tonight became about so much more than a number on the bar.

This past year has changed me in ways I don’t even know how to put into words. I’ve walked through grief, change, heartbreak, and some of the hardest days I’ve ever had. Somewhere along the way, I stopped feeling like myself. I’ve been trying to find my footing again, trying to rebuild, trying to remember the person I was before life got so heavy.

And tonight, for a few hours… I felt like ME again.

I laughed.
I connected with people.
I felt strong.
felt present.
I felt happy in a way that has felt so far away lately.

And then came the God wink. ❤️

Somewhere in the middle of trunk or treat, You’ve Got a Friend in Me, started playing. The same song we played when my mom passed away.

Maybe tonight wasn’t about pulling 315 pounds. Maybe it was about remembering that I’m still strong, even when life has made me feel anything but. That I’m still capable of joy. That the girl I thought I’d lost somewhere in all the hard stuff is still here.

I’m still me.
I’m still becoming.
And I’m still finding my way back. 🤍

Tonight, I got a new PR.
But more importantly, I got a little piece of myself back.

We are honored to partner with such an amazing team to the Ohio Valley, @wheelingnailers for the 26/27 season.

Our gym and community have come such a long way in just 3 short years and the best thing is, we are just getting started.

2 straight years as best gym in belmont county.

A full gym remodel from brands such as @watsongymequipment , @arsenal_strength , and @roguefitness

We have a lot of new things planned for 2027 for both inside our building and out and can not wait to share with you all.

So this is a thank you to our members who believe in our mission, and the countless people who have stopped by for day passes, and even just shared our posts.

Thank you, because without you there is no OVB.

We are a community

Through and through

Hello I think you haven’t seen me in a minute lol. I’ve been injured so I haven’t had anything to post. I haven’t touch anything over 535 in a minute because of my injury. This really did surprised me. The experience at Elitefts was insane.

A little deadlift action and hack squat.
