hi this is gavi i signed back onto the phone just a small recap is that in april my mom died from cancer and then we went on tour 8 days later and many loving people said we shouldn’t do it because it would be bad for me but it (everyone,,you, this)actually cradled me in my grief more tenderly than i could have imagined and i could not ask for better support than being constantly and relentlessly and wonderfully surrounded by my genius best friends and loud music and music community for two weeks immediately after the death….tour kind of saved my life…thank you everyone for being there…when tour ended is when things got a lot worse for me as i had to sit and process anyhow…thank you so much to everyone who came out and witnessed us at our most emotionally raw and unified…we won’t be playing for the next few months..thank you to everyone who has listened to our album the last 4 weeks…ended up being offline and not promoting it but if you need it i hope it will find you ❤️ it is very loud and very quiet and noisy and soft and the highest level of honesty we have ever found … and the whole thing is very true…annihilation (last song on album) specifically feels truer and truer each day… it began with mak two years ago and then became about many many things and then it taught me how to watch my mom die …ok i love you all so much thank you if you got this far ❤️ please do listen and let us know what it is that you think….
