Thank you, Morton College, for the friendships, memories, and moments that will stay with me for a lifetime. Although my athletic career ended far sooner than I ever anticipated, I’m beyond grateful for every opportunity I was given and for the incredible people I got to share this journey with.

I never imagined this would be how my athletic chapter would close—but I wouldn’t have wanted to go through it with anyone else by my side. From my illness worsening, to ICU stays, and eventually undergoing heart surgery, so many of you stood by me, showed me love, and reminded me of my strength. Because of that support, I’ve found clarity and peace in one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make.

I’ve chosen to move forward and pursue my career full time. I recently joined the Western Springs Fire Department Cadet Program, and I’ll be starting at Advocate Christ Hospital on the 23rd.

I will always be proud to have been a Panther—and I will always carry this chapter with me.
