Last week we took a trip to see our buddies @westkillbrewing and we made sure to grab some of the collab we did at their brewery! Field Guide II Reishi Mushroom English Mild is available at both of our taprooms now. The mushrooms add a subtle earthy complexity to one of our favorite styles of beer, the easy drinking dark mild. It’s so tasty, especially this time of year.

Find it alongside the first part of our collab, Desire Path NYS IPA, brewed on our end at our brewery in Catskill, @returnoutpost.

Not only were all their beers great, Fābrica Moritz Barcelona was one of the most beautiful brewing facilities I’ve ever stepped foot into! Simply incredible that it’s in the middle of the city… and in the caverns below it. Bummed they were out of the seasonal chestnut beer, but their blood orange sour with spice and chili was stellar! 🥰🇪🇸🍺

The Govies Cup is ours again!!! As usual, we faced some stiff competition but managed to come out on top this year for our 3rd victory in 4 years.
🏆
Sadly there will not be a victory parade but the trophy will be on display all year at our taproom. If you ask nicely we may even let you drink from it.
🏆
Massive thanks to everyone who voted and for @goviestavern for all that you do to support local breweries!

Walked into the liquor shop at Kobe’s Hankyu Oasis and came to the sad (and startling) realization that I had tried every single beer in their cooler. But then I was turned on to Valle Sagrado, where their fridge was full of cans and bottles from Japanese breweries I had mostly never even heard of. Vacation saved! 🥰🇯🇵🍻

It’s VINYL THURSDAY and the garage door is gonna be open today folks! It’s a lovely afternoon to bring your favorite record by for a spin. As a reminder we’ll play one half of the record, and you get to take a can of beer home with ya to-go. Let’s see what you got!!

‘24 was a pretty, pretty, pretty good year.

Outside of work travel in the northeast and family visits to FL, I managed to take a solid CO-UT-AZ-NV road trip, got down to St Croix and out to the Oregon coast. My parents moved to the beach, which is great for me. Work continues to be excellent, especially because it gives me time to share and brew beers with the people I care about. ❤️

2025? I’m hesitant and a little nervous. But at least I’ve got my people.
