As I look back over my journey of serving as the Head Audio Engineer within the Media Ministry at New Mount Zion AME Tallahassee under Pastor Michael Bell Jr., I can truly and honestly say that this was one of the best decisions the Lord could have ordained for this season of our lives. It was truly right on time!

Since my wife and I joined NMZ, we have experienced nothing but genuine love, support, and encouragement. Every project or need that I have presented to my Pastor concerning the Audio and Media Ministry has been met with support and a willingness to make sure we have the tools and resources needed to continue improving the sound throughout the Sanctuary, Fellowship Café, and Livestream.

From the very beginning, I was all in because I understood the importance of what we do. I have always said that sound is a ministry, and I truly believe that. If the saints and hungry souls cannot hear, how can they fully receive the Word that is being sung, preached, or taught?

Because of the support and vision of our Pastor and church leadership, our Media Ministry is something we take great pride in. We are constantly working to improve, grow, and provide excellence in everything we do.

But beyond the equipment, technology, and ministry work, what means the most to me is the LOVE. From day one, NMZ has made my wife and me feel like family and that love and support have never stopped.

I thank God for sending us to the right place, at the right time, and to a loving and supportive church family that allows us to serve, grow, and use the gifts He has given us.

We love you, Pastor Mike, and the entire NMZ Family! ❤️🙏🏾

To God be all the glory for what He is doing and what He is still going to do!

I may be behind the console, but my heart is in worship! Every Sunday, I have the blessings of serving God through the gift He gave me. 🎶🎤
