A little late on this, but Eugene 2025 was so much fun with my #Uncrew. Started off flying 8 hours early to Portland before everyone else to visit my “dumb” sister and brother @claudiecakes & John before everyone else showed up. Then had a board meeting while everyone else was flying in #accountantlife . Picked everyone up and spent Friday exploring Portland, including an encore lunch with seeester (her first time meeting my runner friends).

On Friday afternoon. Headed to Eugene to get situated. We rented a historic house that had a former tenant “Steven” that was disabled and had a care journal that we of course read (we always get the weirdest houses).

Saturday = expo, shopping, meeting the indomitable @keiradamato 🥰 (only brigida and I), watching some crazy episodes of @nakedandafraid , listening to Steven creek around the house (is he even real though?), then sleep. Ooooo…can’t forget the visit(s) to Dari mart too for …I don’t even remember what, but man..they were everywhere).

Sunday = race day. No PRs but we did have some proud accomplishments during the day.

Monday = swing by @voodoodonuts for some #cockandballs and head home.

Overall. Traveling with friends for an adventure: recommend 10/10. They’re less likely than family to talk you out of something stupid. Can’t wait for the next adventure (cactus to clouds then R2R2R)

Fun day for a 10k and then meeting a new “special” friend of a friend. Perfect weather and great company. I’m so lucky. #uncrew #shamrockn10k
