If you’re serious about studying medicine, read this 👇

Everyone is talking about getting into medical school. But almost no one talks about actually preparing for the studies. Even though that’s where most students struggle in their first weeks.

The Medical Foundation Track at UMFST-UMCH gives you a head start, before you start medical school 🧠

A focused 3-week program designed to close any knowledge gaps before it becomes a problem.

✔️ A clear understanding of core subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics & Anatomy)
✔️ Small groups where you can actually ask questions
✔️ A real taste of student life at UMFST-UMCH
✔️ Event day on campus

And beyond academics? You’ll meet people who might sit next to you in your first lecture, get to know to the campus and surroundings, and get early clarity on what studying medicine really demands.

🗓️ 13.07.2026 – 31.07.2026
📍 Hamburg campus or online

This is what medical school actually feels like as a first-year student ✨👩‍⚕️

Jean-Michelle moved from South Africa to Hamburg to study medicine at UMFST-UMCH. 🇩🇪🇿🇦

And of course, it’s early mornings, confusing biochemistry, and a lot of studying. But also: finding your people and getting through it together. A real international community that supports each other on and off our modern campus. And whenever there’s time, she’s out exploring 🌍

Thinking about studying medicine abroad? Apply now via the link in the bio!

Ex gymnast and choreographer Jean-Michelle De Blanche popped in on Monday to chat to some of girls about training VS school VS school sports VS life VS social media.
The girls walked away with a good sense of understanding for 2025. Hearing her story motivated them and made them understand they all have to go through these struggles but you do preservere. Jean-Michele just completed her matric and won numerous academics, cultural and sporting achievements during her school career.
Such an awesome role model for them all.
