one of the biggest blessings God has ever given me is camp.

Looking back, all of my favorite memories of being a teenager have been spent here, with these people. God has used camp to teach me about life, about others, about myself, about Him. My favorite version of myself is here. It’s tempting to attach my identity to this place; to struggle with who I am outside of it. But the things God has done in my life here are not meant to be hidden. He tells us to go and make disciples, to be the light of the world. As I leave camp and reminisce on how the Lord has used it to bless me beyond my wildest dreams, I know that God goes before me, and that his great pursuit doesn’t stop when this does. I’ve loved working in this place, with these people. It’s been an honor and a privilege to play a part in the ministry that is Camp Carl.

Spent the weekend closing out my favorite chapter yet. The Lord moving in such evident ways at the Carl, and taught me so much about my self and others. Here’s to next summer!
