I have sat playing drums behind Myles for years now, watching these audiences steadily grow in front of him year on year. It is something I am so, so lucky and privileged to see - Faces old and new, the energy that people bring to these shows, the emotions and catharsis a lot of you go through at the concerts. It’s just something incredible to witness and fills me with joy every single time I step onto that stage.

The UK arena run is up next and I will be committing all of my being to becoming the best version of Daniel Said on drums - I want to leave it all out on those stages come the time. See you guys there, I literally cannot wait.

Time for a nap.

Europe, that’s a wrap ❤️

On my way back to England trying to take it all in. France and Belgium… my biggest shows in Europe yet and my first ever arenas. Hearing that many of you sing words I wrote before I ever knew any of this was possible is something I’ll never forget.

This last year has been such an emotional battle, with so much going on back home. Some days I’ve walked on stage carrying more than I’ve known how to talk about, and somehow you’ve helped me put it down for a little while. These shows have made it all feel worth it. You’ve helped me so much more than you could ever imagine.

We’ve still got Amsterdam to come at the start of the UK run, then I’m about to play some of the biggest arenas of my life. I’m nervous, grateful and still trying to get my head around the fact that you’ve made this possible.

After this run, I don’t know when I’ll be back, but I promise I will be. I’m more excited than ever to get back in the studio, start writing records and see where all of this takes us.

Until then, let’s finish this year together on a high.

Are you ready, UK?

Myles Smith and his incredible band in Brussels last night!!

📸 @jittedavidson for @forestnational

Wanted to write a few words:
1,5 years ago in Trix, Myles Smith already blew me away with his show. I didn't think it could get any better... well I was wrong. Add the right musicians and it's like magic. They all looked like they were having the time of their lives and that energy is contagious!
Besides that, it's Myles' kind and open personality that makes the whole venue really feel like a safe space. We already knew that he's really talented, but talent only gets you so far. You gotta have that personality, that stage presence and the right people around you, and Myles' got it all. Big big applause for everyone involved in this production 👏

you quit your job to make music, and somehow that decision gave us a family 🤍
forever grateful for the choice that brought us all here 🫶🏻
