Funky For You / Common feat. Bilal & Jill Scott
(pro. by The Soulquarians)
@common
@bilalmusic
@missjillscott
@officialjdilla
@jamespoyser

The Soulquariansが手がけた2000年リリースの「Like Water For Chocorate」からの第一弾シングル。

「Voodoo / D'Angelo」
「Mama's Gun / Erykah Badu」

B-1「The Light」、B-2「Funky For You」、B-3「The Questions」、B-4「Time Travelin' Reprise」とシームレスに続く流れが最高過ぎます。

A-1「Time Travelin'」

Yesterday @istillloveher.de dropped a very dope post that reflects on @rapsody’s impressive career of delivering bar-setting verses with the utmost quality and consistency. Her post inspired me to go back to the beginning of this year, when Rapsody headlined J Dilla Day at @donquixotela, in February. Check out Rapsody’s amazing performance and drop a line below to let us know when you first discovered the Grammy-nominated lyricist.

Also, how 🔥 is “Asteroids”? One of those rare songs that gives me goosebumps every time it spins. Rapsody and @hitboy were in the pocket on that one.

SHOUTOUT to @djluman82 on the decks!
