Seekord toome teieni midagi eriti vägevat. Mõni nimetaks seda tasku-Bentleyks, mõni teine ilmselt mitte. Arvake, mida tahate – tähelepanu tõmbab see auto niikuinii. Saage tuttavaks Harri ja tema March Boleroga – retro-luksuslikus stiilis Nissan Micraga.

/// autokultuur.ee ///

This time we have something extra special to bring in front of your eyeballs. Some might say, it’s a pocket-Bentley and others might not agree with that. Think, what you want, this thing already got your attention. Say hello to Harri and to his March Bolero – a special retro-luxury-styled Nissan Micra.

I hope you will enjoy this video. Unfortunately, 10 seconds of the music were lost because there weren't enough clips, but I still think it's good content.

All car brands were crazy those times, and Toyota was one of them. They created a cheap way of being fast: mid-engine, rear-wheel drive, and 2-seater, which created the popular abbreviation - MR2. Usually, this car is called "Baby Ferrari," and it looks like it. For example, the Ferrari F355 or Ferrari 348TB, and the performance was just like them. The average version of the 348 goes to 100 in 5.5 seconds, but it's a 3.4l V8 with 295hp, while the most powerful Toyota MR2 second generation was equipped with a 3S-GTE turbocharged 2.0l engine with 245hp and it could go to 100 in 5.7 seconds. That is really fast for the 90s, but it was only for the Japanese market and called the MR2 GT or GT-S. The maximum that other countries got was 200hp (only North America), and Europe got 156-175hp versions.

Speaking of the specs of this car, this MR2 is equipped with a 2.0L 156hp engine, but it got some tuning and now has around 185hp. That gives this car pretty fast acceleration to 100 (around 7 seconds, I guess, versus stock 8.1). The owner doesn't want to increase power yet.

On the last photo, you can see an original autograph from Keiichi Tsuchiya, which I think increases the final price of the car.

This is an Icon among all of the JDM cars ....
It has made soo much of a difference in the Drift scene ...and it has had so many stories made ....🙌🏻...
If we could get one car today that would match this reputation in the future ... It would be amazing ....
