it only took 3 months… on may 1, it was just a sketch in my notebook. by august 1, it became reality: dancers, cameras + drones, a city bus, and Broadway completely shut down during sunrise on a thursday morning.

very few people believed it was possible… but with discipline, creativity, and the right mindset, it happened.

being back in providence allowed me to reflect a lot. it showed me how far i’ve come and how much further i’m going.

these behind-the-scenes moments (all the dance rehearsals, sketches, late-night edits, even meetings with RIPTA to bring a mural covered bus into the shot) remind me that when you trust your vision, the world rises to meet it.

there are no limits! only the next dream, the next challenge, the next creation. onwards!!! step into the fear!

Back in 2006 was my first official hand painted window project. At the time, Tazza Caffe had only been open 2 years at the corner of Westminster & Union st where the iconic @elliesprov now stands. Tazza was the place I met my beautiful Wife, it’s where I met good people like @jessabernethy1 @pakito_r19 @jdmartone @rosenquest @therabbithole103.3 @gillianchristy and more. This project launched my official start as @jayson_salvi_signpainter (Salvi’s Hand Painted Signs.

A few photos from the past few weeks. The holiday season is a different thing as a father (or as a “Papi” as my daughter Sandy says), and I was too in the moment to post any sooner. All my warmest wishes, everyone. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year. 😘
