🍂✨ Happy Thanksgiving! 🍁
What an incredible Thanksgiving Sunday we had together! Our hearts are so full after a day overflowing with testimonies, encouragement, and a beautiful sense of community.

We’re especially grateful for the chance to give back to our congregation through the generous donations of food and clothing. Thank you to everyone who gave so selflessly — your kindness is a true reflection of God’s love in action. 🤎

A huge shoutout to our Children’s Church for their heart-warming presentation on thankfulness 🙌🏽 Their joy and gratitude reminded us all of the simple but powerful reasons we have to give thanks every single day.

As we continue in this season of gratitude, let’s remember:

“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” – Psalm 107:1

Special thanks to @jordandover, former professional footballer who played internationally as a defender for Guyana. Your story and journey in the sport were truly inspiring! We have a few aspiring soccer players in our program who were excited to learn from you.

This is a Disney dream come true especially as Millennials😭 nursery mural done for baby girl Sarai🦁💕 as one of her God-parents, this has been a huge honor!

The fact that they stayed up late with me every paint session to keep me company and keep me laughing AND FED🥺 made it that much better and brought us closer as friends/family!😭

Shout out to Sarai’s parents, David and Jordana, for giving me the space to create such a meaningful piece! It was an honor to be chosen as a god mother and now we can share more art together, it’s an amazing feeling🥲 Shout out to the god-parents alongside me🫶 it takes a village! We love you Sarai!!💕

This summer we had a “retro week” at camp. I was doing my usual late night Pinterest scroll looking for inspo the night before and saw the second slide. I immediately messaged one of my youth leaders (at like 11:30pm) saying we needed to do this. Maybe have the kids in cardboard cars or something.

We decided it may be too late considering camp was tomorrow, but we should definitely make something like it happen.

So here we are - joined with 3 other groups and turned it into a retro diner and drive in event. We had burgers and chips, popcorn, milkshakes and more. This event was SO fun and I am so thankful for everyone who helped bring out the vision. I truly have a wonderful team.

I felt a little bad having a youth night with my name everywhere… but clearly not too bad lol.

One of my fav events for sure!

June 18, 2019… In front of a sellout crowd at the grand opening of the Allianz Field stadium, Guyana made there debut at their first major tournament, the @goldcup , against the U.S. Men's National Team. 🇬🇾Vs🇺🇸

Although the result didn’t go our way, it was a major success for our country to be at the main stage competing against top opposition with world class players. To put into context, Guyana has a population of just over 700 thousand people… whilst the Texas state alone has a population of 29.53 million!!! 🤯

To captain my country at a major tournament, is something that I will be forever proud of and to do it in front of my Mum & Dad made it that more special.

Thanking God for memories that will last a lifetime… and hopefully more to come. ❤️🙏🏽✨

A look back at our League 1 Ontario Inaugural Season ⏪

Alyssa Nikkel kicked us off with a banger for the Rover's first ever goal! 💥

We didn't stop there as we had 14 different Rovers achieve 23 Team of the Week honours 🙌 and 6 Rovers being mentioned in the Team of the Month throughout the season! 👏

July 23rd... The Rovers first ever silverware was won as Justin Yarde put in the winner in the 94th minute for the Trent Severn Cup 🏆

August 5th... The Rovers U21 Reserve team completed an invincible season going undefeated with 13 wins, 56 goals for and 9 goals against and lifting the Rovers 2nd trophy of the year 💪🤝

Thank you for all your support this season Rovers, we look forward to making more memories next year... We're not done yet 🔵⚪
