What a joy it has been to spend the last five weeks being called Blizzy and serving 2nd through 5th grade campers!!

I could genuinely write a novel about my time at the Pine Cove Silverado! Every early morning breakfast shift, late night p-staff hangs, dirty sides, conversations with campers, dance breaks, and splash pad afternoons. I already wish I could relive every single moment. But somehow, that wouldn't even come close to explain what the Lord did this summer!

I was continually reminded that the Lord is my prize, and all glory belongs to Him! He showed me that joy can be found in the most ordinary moments, and that ministry doesn't always look like standing on a stage. Even the smallest of moments have an eternal impact, God is ALWAYS moving!! My time at Silverado was such an incredible reminder of just how simple the gospel is, as I got to watch eight year old campers experience the wonder of childlike faith! Of course, there were moments where I was tired, weary, and run down, but every single time the Lord met me there! He is my portion, my all, my treasure, my prize.

I came to Silverado very excited to serve, but I’m leaving with a heart so much more deeply in love with the One who I was serving!

The sweetest five weeks! & I couldn’t be more grateful! Thankful for the Lord’s steady presence, His faithful leading, and the joy of simply resting in Him! “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want!”— Psalm 23

Surprise trip back to Silverado for an extra 3 weeks! It was SO FUN and Jesus is SO GOOD!!! He is the reason for it all!

Isaiah 53:5-6
“But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.”

What a gift it has been to spend the past five weeks as SoPo!! Serving on Kitchen Crew at Pine Cove Silverado taught me that ministry doesn’t always happen on a stage. it can happen while preparing meals, washing dishes, and serving others with a joyful heart.

Through every long day, God was faithful. His goodness showed up in the people, the friendships, the laughter, and the privilege of serving others. I’m thankful for every lesson learned and every opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus this summer.
