If you would have told me a year ago that my entrepreneurial journey would lead me to building a nonprofit organization dedicated to my mom’s life and legacy, I’m certain I would have thought you were crazy. We had the most amazing time celebrating the home team today! ⚾️💙❤️ Everyone I ran into are folks that, like us, grew up in Atlanta and was too hype to be apart of this moment. We been about this Atlanta baseball life since $5 tickets and Marta rides to Turner Field, we deserve this celebration (even if it is in Cobb County now 🙄) It’s crazy how you can be both celebratory and sad at the same time, knowing my mama would have LOVED to celebrate this day, but betta believe we kept her close, convinced Grandad to skip work to come with us, and we enjoyed every single moment!!
