Crete, you were everything! Now that I am home and the sea air has faded from my hair, I have been sitting with everything that week gave me, and I am still processing how much it packed in. A huge thank you to Jordan and Elie at Je Thrive Retreats for creating something so genuinely well thought through. The combination of yoga, functional fitness and resistance training in that setting was exactly the kind of experience that reminds you what your body is actually capable of when you give it the right environment and the right guidance. And to the team at Kipo Paradiso Resort, thank you for the warmth, the beauty and the food. The backdrop you provided made every session feel like something out of a dream. I go to retreats like this deliberately. As someone who hosts therapeutic retreats myself, I believe deeply in experiencing what great facilitation and great spaces actually feel like from the other side. This one raised the bar. Crete 🇬🇷 Sunshine, sea air and moving my body in every possible direction! I am here at the beautiful Kipo Paradiso Resort with Je Thrive and honestly, if this is what a movement retreat feels like, I completely understand why people keep coming back. We have been through yoga, functional fitness and resistance training, and what strikes me every single time is how much the body has to say when you finally give it the right conditions to speak. Most of us spend our lives sitting, rushing and pushing through. A week of intentional movement in a place this stunning does something quite different to you. This is exactly the kind of experience I want to weave into what I am building with my own retreats. The physical and the psychological are never as separate as we pretend they are, and getting both right in the same space is something I feel very strongly about. More from this week to come. Watch my stories! Follow along for more from this week and join the waiting list through the link in bio to hear about my upcoming retreats first 💜 #wellnessretreat #creteretreat #jethrive #movementretreat #therapeuticretreat

2 More Days ... 2 very real realities where you may over prepare/over think the strategy in preparing for an event like this and on the flip side being self aware or discipline enough to stick to plan knowing when it is time to rest, when giving more at the wrong time sometimes means reducing the chances of the ideal results. #gohardorstaymeg #outdoorstlucia #stlucia #ultramarathonstlucia #runculture

Sometimes the greatest lessons don’t come from books, but from life itself — from nature, resilience, change, and the environments that shape us. 🌍🙏 In this episode of Thrive Vibe, we dive into Jordan’s inspiring journey and upbringing — from island life to the concrete jungle. A transition that came with challenge, growth, and self-discovery. We explore the survival skills, mindset, discipline, and perspective he developed growing up, and how he’s now learning to channel them into new horizons, personal growth, and performance. 👏 A conversation about adaptation, resilience, identity, health, and evolving without losing where you came from. AI can give you a workout plan. But it can’t truly feel the energy in a room. Great coaches don’t just train bodies — they regulate energy, build connection, and make people feel seen. That’s the part human coaching will always own. #fitnesscoach #humanconnection #coachmindset #dohafitness #aivshuman

Living in a fast-paced, tech-driven world made me realize something… We’re not burnt out because of life—we’re burnt out because we’ve drifted too far from how we’re meant to live. Nature, movement, real connection… that’s the reset. Always has been. Comment your opinion and let us know how you feel about this 😊 #DisconnectToReconnect #NatureOverNoise #DigitalBalance #WellnessTalk #healthymind

You don’t need to be skinny to be happy, worthy, or loved. It’s shocked me how many conversations I’ve had recently with people who want to be skinnier. Not stronger. Not healthier. Not happier. Skinnier. For too long, women have been told to be smaller, curvier, to bounce back after pregnancy, and be more of everything… Now, with the rise and easy access to GLP-1s, that pressure feels louder than ever. In my teens, I remember doing everything I could to shrink myself to look like ‘them’, chasing the ‘ideal’ size. If you let it, that mentality will consume you and steal the joy from all areas of your life. Trust me, it’s not worth it! For the last 5-7 years I have made a committed conscious effort to build the trust, love and respect for myself. To treat my body like a home, a safe space. Of course there are moments where I catch myself saying something negative. BUT that’s just it! I catch myself and let it only be a moment, not a few hours or a day of punishment and pity. In that moment of pause I often realise it’s stemming from something else entirely (time of the month, under slept, work stress etc) and then reframe and redirect my energy to something more meaningful to me! My tips if you are still becoming friends with yourself: - Focus on these 3 principles for your mind and your body - feed it, work it, rest it. - Notice how you are speaking to yourself. Would you say that to someone you love when you are trying to encourage them? - Filter what you let in - social media, podcasts, your community. You really do become what you surround yourself with! Every single one of us has our own unique body, pour more time into loving what makes you YOU ✨
