Last year Hondo, Texas was nothing but a good time. 🔥

Good BBQ, a little friendly competition, and even better people. The @openfiremeatup is one of those weekends we look forward to because it’s about so much more than what’s cooking. It’s getting together with friends, brands, pitmasters, and some of the best people in the BBQ community.

We’re fired up to be heading back to Hondo this year to do it all over again. See y’all in a couple weeks, Texas! 🤠

Aight Guys!! Game Day tomorrow, so here’s a little idea for you to try! Chicken Crack Sliders!

Recipe:

1 - Lb of @certifiedpiedmontese Chicken Thighs
1 - 8 oz package of cream cheese softened
1/4 - Cup of mayonnaise
1/4 - Cup of sour cream
1/2 - Cup of cooked crumbled bacon
1 - Pack of ranch seasoning mix
3 - Green onions chopped
2 - Cups of shredded cheddar cheese

Season chicken with @hotty_totty_bbq Melissasippi Gold seasoning, grill and chop up. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and spread evenly over sliders. Top with butter, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley and a sprinkle of cheese. Cover and on the grill running @jealousdevilcharcoal around 350 for 20 minutes, uncovered for another 5 to 10 minutes. Dig in and enjoy!
