So great to see these two guys on stage with my son’s latest short, “Cowboys On Adderall” at the Show And Tell Festival. Many more screenings to come!

This is my third time recreating an iconic television set, and it’s always a challenge and an honor. I try to put myself in the shoes of the original decorator and imagine how they might have approached their work. Did they have to rely on studio storage, or was it a show with an unlimited budget? Which prop houses were open that year? Are they still open? For the “Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary,” we had great pictures of the set and were fortunate to discover several pieces of the original dressing still in use at Prop Heaven and Hollywood Studio Gallery. We also were able to look up the paperwork from the decorator’s flat at Universal Property. The Disney archives had a small amount of items, but most of the original pieces were lost over the years. My co-decorator, Kelly Fallon, and shopper, Jeanne Benedict, managed to find many replicas from across the internet—an incredible feat. Along with my leadman, Chris Nuccio, and his team, we succeeded in creating an extremely detailed and accurate set recreation. Miley was deeply moved as she walked through the set, and it was thrilling to see her perform the Hannah Montana songs again. I previously worked as a buyer on “The Hannah Montana Movie” and remember the intense pressure and constant paparazzi attention that Miley faced as a sixteen-year-old. It’s wonderful to see how she has thrived years later. Thank you to Tom Lenz and Mel Lovric for trusting me with their beautifully crafted production design. Thanks also to Kyle Doll, Linea Hardy, Sarah Boyce, Amanda Frauenglass, Grant Van Severn, and everyone at Jet Sets for their solid work. A special shout out to the original set decorator, Wendy Fine—wherever she is, I hope we made her proud. Streaming now on Disney Plus midnight tonight!

It’s Twilight Night on the Masked Singer Wednesday Feb. 11th 8 pm on Fox. I had the opportunity to recreate the iconic wedding scene from Breaking Dawn Part 1 with Cristina Perri singing the song that launched a zillion Millennial and Gen Z relationships. Huge thank you to everyone on my crew who spent days stringing together over a 100 20’ long strands of white flowers. Also had the honor of recreating some of the work of original Twilight Set Dec Gene Serdena’s Swan living room.. Watch tomorrow night for the final product.

A dog for all seasons, Sir Frederick Nibbles gave us a solid 18 years. A tough little guy till the end, he went out his way at home with us. 💔

The sun sets over the Young Sheldon house before tonight’s series finale. My neighborhood hosted all 7 seasons of exterior shooting. Great crew, always a pleasure. As Sheldon would say-Fun fact: My wife and I bought our house in the background with the blue and red cars from a woman named Mary Cooper. Sheldon’s mom’s name on the show.

It’s Creative Emmy weekend! Best of luck to everyone nominated. On the sidelines this year, but we had a great time celebrating the nominees with members of many other crafts.
