Seven years of club swim with Team Charlotte…

More than anything, TEAM has given me some of the best friendships and memories. From team trips, long practices, Sun-Kissed meets to all the hangouts and moments in between, this team has been a huge part of my life, and has given me friends that I will take into this next chapter!

Thank you to the coaching staff for believing in me, pushing me to be better, and helping shape me into the athlete and person I am today. The lessons you’ve taught me reach far beyond the pool, and I’ll carry them with me for years to come.

After spinal fusion, I knew my path back to swimming would look a little different. There were injuries, setbacks, and days that tested me both physically and mentally, but I kept showing up because I wasn’t ready to give up on the goals I wanted to accomplish. Looking back now, making it to this point means more than I can put into words: I am incredibly proud, but it wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for the support system of this team.

As I head to Campbell to continue my swimming career, I’m incredibly thankful for every person who has been part of these last seven years: I wouldn’t be where I am today without the people who make up this TEAM.
