Our winter concert is just two days away!! As we approach the concert we will be doing highlights to showcase the incredible work that our choreographers will be showing.

Up next is Jeanette Gronemeyer, choreographer of “Experiments (1)“

This work emphasizes the juxtaposition of experimental sound and movement utilizing a mixed composition that layers textures, field recordings, synthesizers, and pedal feedback.

Jeanette Gronemeyer is a performance artist who has performed in pieces under Lailye Weidman and J.E Kim, among others. Her dance practice is informed by improvisation and postmodern technique. She is inspired by the Judson Dance Theater and Western MA noise scene. Jeanette is a junior at Hampshire concentrating in performance studies through the lens of dance + performance art and food anthropology.
