FilAm” tells the story of a young Filipino American named JP, a boy on the cusp of adulthood who’s struggling to figure out his place and the world, and who he really is. Is he Filipino enough? Is he really American? And why does any of that even matter?

JP is surrounded by opinionated but loving family and friends, who will help guide him on his path to finding his identity.

This is a film that can reach beyond just Filipinos. Many other cultures have had to learn to assimilate in America and find a way to still celebrate their roots. I hope that this film not only gives more Filipino representation in media, but also makes you laugh, makes you think, and makes you want to celebrate the diversity around us.

Now, you all understand how the game works? No? Okay, good, me neither

So ends my second bout with the incredible crew of Game Changer! It is always a pleasure to work with them, and an honor to be named alongside them in the credits. These photos show but a platoon of the veritable army that was necessary to make this crazy show work. Truly special folks-- I love y'all.

And with that, Game Changer Season 8 comes to a close. I simply can’t believe this is my life. The largest, most ginormous thank you and overall shout out to @badnerbadner for the opportunity of a lifetime. Thank you for trusting me and allowing me into your magical, fantastical world. To the entire art team, crew, cast, every single person that makes this show what it is—thank you for coming to summer camp each year. The world is a better place because Game Changer is in it.
