JANUARY 2023 — LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
Female State Employee — Victim Statement:
*******
“I experienced persistent, unwanted text messages and phone calls from a married male driver associated with a recycling company listed on the CalRecycle website as a trusted recycling provider Green World.”

“The communications occurred at all hours of the day and night, and the messages became increasingly vulgar and inappropriate.”

“The situation became so overwhelming that I was forced to change my phone number, which I had maintained for 11 years, simply to stop the unwanted contact and protect my privacy.”

“Our Human Resources (HR) team also contacted CalRecycle’s complaints department with supervisor Andrew Hurst and supervisor Ana-Marie Stoian-Chu to report the driver’s alleged misconduct and request that the matter be addressed. Despite these efforts to bring the situation to their attention, neither CalRecycle nor Andrew Hurst or his supervisor Ana-Marie Stoian-Chu responded to our complaints or took action to address the reported misconduct.”

We are calling for Green World to be immediately suspended from Cal Recycle public sites and require background-check requirements for companies listed on the CalRecycle website to help protect our mothers, families, youth from harassment, threats, and misconduct with a review of Cal Recycle management handlers of this serious matter.

PUBLIC COMPLAINT 🚨

@calrecycle
JANUARY 2023 — LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA

FEMALE STATE EMPLOYEE — VICTIM STATEMENT #5

────────

REPORTED SEXUAL HARASSMENT
**************************************************
I received unwanted text messages of a sexual nature, very vile and disgusting from Ronny Vasquez a male driver associated with Green World, he also sent disturbing text messages and pictures to my female coworkers.
**************************************************

On The Record:

We reported the matter to our supervisor, Keisha, who contacted Green World office and the male who answered “Laughed” when told of the inappropriate situation. we then contacted the CalRecycle office and filed our complaints.

Our personal phone numbers were shared with Supervisor Andrew Hurst of Cal Recycle management and including their attorney at the request of David Kelley @realdavidkelley after talking to Andrew Hurst to get this resolved, David emailed our complaints with other female victims complaints of same company to show a pattern to Andrew Hurst Cal Recycle email. Jan 2023

To this day, we never heard from Cal Recycle or anyone from their office including Andrew Hurst.

Cal Recycle Attorney only replied to David Kelley via email.

“Where’s your proof”

With not one victim called!

As a female state employee there are to be protections to stop this abuse and anxiety it’s caused and Green World should have been investigated back in 2023, removed and banned from Cal Recycle website.

Now we understand there are more women victims including at schools and @calrecycle management knew is deeply disturbing and was preventable.

Statement Date: October 17, 2026

September is the other favourite month of the year for me. A few people who are a part of my heart have their birthdays this month. I pray to God that they are always protected and blessed in everything they do. September is also my month to step up after the summer. Time to make the most of 2026.

Blue always reminds me of peace. The sea, the lake, the river. Blue clothes bring me calm. I pray to God for a peaceful year around the sun. It seems appropriate to ask for this today on the 12th of August when nature showed us such a beautiful display of the majestic sun.
I pray for peace in the world & in my personal life allowing for the beautiful elements to truly flourish. 🙏🏼💙
