20th Anniversary Celebration Photos and Soundtrack

On September 6th, 2026 StyleZeitgeist turned twenty. We celebrated our anniversary on September 14th at Maison Nur on the Bowery, and we thank everyone who joined us. Update: epi3 airs tonight- with meeeeee
*New extended version of 13 Burns* Sometimes everything has to burn down to clear way for the new. My first biggest rebirth was 2011 when I showed up in Black Rock desert by myself, having hitchhiked from the airport. In the 10 months leading up to that- I had multiple deaths in my family, crumbling of my lineage, explosion of suppressed traumas and the threat of more deaths in the family. I hiked the base of the Himalayan mountains, I buried my grandmother, hiked a petrified stone forest, hiked the Great Wall of China, ended my five-year relationship, and went to Burning Man by myself. I didn’t know then that I was never to be the same person again. That that was the beginning of my new life. And that I was going to go thru repeated rebirths for the next 15 years.

I have attended every Burn since. This will be my 14th consecutive Burn, creating camp and building art with my tribe and family @tinmanbrc @remyhii @crookedoaks. For years I’ve shared the principles and what I have learned throughout my pilgrimage there- knowing that no media, video or photo have ever truly captured the indescribable vortex, magic, connection and synchronicity that happens on the playa.

How poetic that one of my quintessentially “Angel” interactions was documented in the upcoming @hbo 4-part series by @jehane11 @vkgandhi “ @themanwillburn ”. I can honestly say it deepened my own understanding, relationship and reverence with @burningman having watched the first 2 episodes that premiered at @tribeca .

Premieres tonight on HBO at 9 PM(EST)- I look forward to hearing from you after you watch it.💋

Happy 2nd Birthday to our wild and wise girl.

You love strawberries, sauerkraut, and snakes. You greet everyone you meet with a mischievous smile and a chatty conversation.

You adore your big cousins, gently scoop ladybugs into your tiny hands, and have such a deep respect for the smallest creatures. You can already identify so many plants (makes me so proud!), and love wandering through the garden beside me, saying hi to every flower and buzzing bee.

You look up for the moon every night, as if you already understand her magic.

Watching you grow has been the greatest joy of our lives. Never lose your wonder, your kindness, your curiosity, or your wild heart. We love you Kody Coyote. 🌕🐺

When meeting you Jeff, just a few months shy of thirty, feeling old in the aftermath of what I believed were expectations people had placed on me. My quest for perfection continued; I felt trapped.
You told me you didn’t expect perfection- as perfection was simply a myth. What you wanted was to share a happy life. That was something attainable for us together.

If I made a list of the things I wanted to accomplish in life, growing old with the person I love was number one on that list. Somehow that happened more quickly than expected!

I can’t imagine a bigger feeling of accomplishment than knowing you’ve shared an authentic happy life with the person you love!

We recorded this the day before the storm hit NYC in January. The city felt strangely suspended that afternoon. Two rehearsals to build an acoustic arrangement, and this team brought so much precision and sensitivity it honestly floored me. What a beautiful day.
