Worlds was so incredible! What an amazing week spent with so many cool people from around the world.

I don’t usually do long captions like this but I’d like to give a super special thanks to @adventurous.miss. She has been my best friend, sister, coach and mentor all year long and has been there for me through all the ups and downs.

She’s woken me up to go kayaking extremely early in the morning to get some training in before the lines got too long —even though Im not too much of a morning person. Though it was early, I got some awesome training in, had so much fun with new friends and made some great memories.

Abby has helped me gain confidence on and off the water all because of her encouragement. She’s the best at making me calm in scary situations in which she knows I’m okay. She’s taught me rational and irrational fears which has made me less fearful of the things that I shouldn’t be afraid of. Throughout the year she’s helped me slowly build my confidence in competition and I wouldn’t be where I am without her.

So again, thank you Abby!! You are totally, “sister status.” And I can’t wait for more adventures we will go on in the future!!

Love you 🫶

The Canadian summer of my dreams😍🥰☺️

I paddled a lot, I progressed a lot, and I am so grateful for another spectacular summer on the Ottawa!

I continue to be amazed by the incredible community that surrounds me. This summer in Canada, and my Canadian family is no exception.

A massive thank you to the Gilfillian/Bloor family for another summer of fun❤️ You guys are the best!

Until next time! Worlds is approaching quickly and I’m headed south🌊🇺🇸

Before our final day draws to a close, a shout out to the Team OSZ parents. They are our volunteers, emotional support, photography, minor surgery and extractions, ski tuning, and they also have a whole lot of fun. A special shout out to our Zone U16 coordinator, Mark Somers (MSM), for organizing accommodations, food, vans and everything.
