This week was about founders.

Tuesday: @blacktechsaturdays Investor Happy Hour.
Thursday (doubleheader): Michigan Founders Fund Accelerator and @artprize pitch competition.
Friday: @mottcommunitycollege music + tech panel.
The Weekend: Office hours (aka homework) with one of the future CEOs in my house.

One of my favorite parts of being a VC investor is sitting with founders — working through ideas, sharpening storytelling, stress-testing growth strategies. There’s something about that moment when a founder’s vision starts to come into focus that never gets old.

What I saw this week was ambition. Real ambition. People building products to genuinely improve the condition of life. That’s what it’s all about.

There’s still work to do — getting products to market, preparing for fundraising, bridging the gaps between where founders are and where they’re going. But I’m excited to spend more time helping founders navigate that journey.

To every founder I connected with this week — keep building. The work matters.

This week was exhausting… but one of the supreme highlights was serving as #emcee for the annual @suitedforthefuture awards ceremony. I love seeing young men excel and matriculate.
