A year ago today we found out that we weren’t just having 1 baby but 2! 👶🏻👶🏻

It’s so interesting how God works. Jeff and I actually had several prophesies over us that we would have/ were having twins. Two of my dear friends had dreams of us having twins before we got pregnant. My dad swore we were having twins from the time we told him we were pregnant. Then when I was about 16 weeks, at an NET seminar, a woman who I didn’t know at the time, came up to me and said “Congratulations on your twins” I looked at her and laughed! “I’m not having twins. I’m just having one” I said. A week later Ever said to me “Mommy so many babies are going to come out of you.” That night I had a dream where I saw a double stroller with two infant car seats attached to it. All along the Lord was preparing us.

Cut to 19 weeks pregnant at my midwife appointment I was told I was measuring 9 cm ahead which was “significant”. I had done the genetic blood test at 12 weeks and the blood test (while it got the gender right) had not caught the second genome. Which thru my midwife off. She kept saying “I would guess it was twins but the blood test would have told us.” So to be honest hearing that I was this far ahead was concerning. I tried to quiet my mind as my midwife encouraged me to move up my ultrasound asap. The night before the ultrasound I struggled to sleep. Jeff continued to pray over me and kept saying “I think you need to prepare your heart for twins”. But truthfully I couldn’t see past the fact the blood test had only said there was one.

The next day, Dec 5 2024, Jeff and I watched as the doctor put the ultrasound wand on my belly and said “Oh do you see what I see? There’s two!”

Never have I had such shock and absolute peace at the same time. All along God had been preparing us. All along this double portion had been ordained. Twins!

Oh how our hearts have expanded. My strength as a mama has grown significantly and our family is complete. 🫶🏻 @jeffreylarson_

➡️ for photos — 15 months ago I booked an @hbo acting job working alongside #MatthewRhys for the @robertdowneyjr created @perrymasonhbo . Rehearsal and set days consisted of running through live mortar rounds and playing with guns. Every kid’s dream (which is weird). The director, #TimVanPatten, is the same Van Patten who directed the Game of Thrones pilot (and many other amazing things). It was nothing short of an epic set to be on. Fast forward 15 months to the Friday before the premiere on HBO, and I get a call from Tim, who is not only a fantastic director but a genuine man. And after this call with him where he apologized for having to cut most of my scenes out of the show including all my lines, I experienced a different level of respect and love for the craft and those involved than I had experienced before. Plus he wished me a first happy Father’s Day (Jac was pregnant when we were filming). Now, whether I get to see those scenes (which he said he’s trying to do for me) or not, I have an immense level of respect for this man, for #HBO and this exceptional crew of #PerryMason, including the talented @matthewrhysofficial who was beyond gracious as well as my kind and brilliant makeup team of @mrsmakeupfx and @joshua.lyle.mufx The show was quite the experience and it gives me a lot of joy to have been part of it. Watch @perrymasonhbo - it’s very well done. If you see me running through the war with my @theactingcenter stunt bud @bretteastonwagner - just know I had a lot of fun doing it... with some of the best people I’ve worked with yet... and at one point there was more. #trustGodsplan
