Katie, you were always the kind of friend where no matter how much time passed, we could pick up right where we left off without missing a beat. Your smile was truly contagious. You were one of the very few people in my life who could make me laugh so hard my face literally hurt and tears were streaming down my face.
So many of my favorite memories from my 20s have you right at the center of them, and they shaped so much of who I am today. I keep thinking back to our college days in African Ensemble, our incredible trips to Ghana, and taking that huge leap to move to NYC together. I still smile thinking about all of our shenanigans we got ourselves into. It was just in May that you sent me some Ghanaian Hiplife songs that brought back so many wonderful memories. (Monkey Chop Banana) 🐒 🍌
You brought so much pure adventure, joy, and light into everyone’s lives. My heart is breaking, and my deepest love and thoughts are with Joe, Nora, and your entire family.
Rest easy, my sweet friend. You are so missed, and you will never be forgotten. 🕊️

I can finally share some fun news about a project I was on over fall and winter: Inside Airport Lost & Found will have its US premiere on National Geographic on September 27! Tune in at 9:00 PM to go behind the scenes of your favorite airports.

This was a dream job with some truly wonderful people. I’m so grateful I got to be part of it, and I’m relieved to know if my luggage ever goes missing at @denairport, it’s in good hands—as long as the Lizard People don’t get it first.

That time I got to drive a chase car (minivan) down the highway while a nearby driver flicked off our talent. 🏎️ 🚐 😂

Had so much fun working with this team. Extreme Road Ragers premieres tonight on A&E. The Colorado episode will air week 9 after the holidays. Give it a watch!

The Freestyle Day Spa 🌊 music video 📽️is now streaming at @atwoodmagazine ! (Link in bio) Thank you so much to @mitchmosk for your thoughtful and beautiful words! ❤️

“Lively, dynamic, emotionally charged and achingly impassioned, Aquamarine is loosely based on a journal Massey wrote while on a therapeutic mushroom trip through Carkeek Park in Seattle. “The record grapples with the artist’s compulsion and purpose with their craft,” she shares. “And, as usual, the themes of death and rebirth are ever present.”

- Mitch Mosk (Atwood Mag)

Thank you to everyone who helped us create this magical video, especially 🎥 @jeffvlarson , @thesunsettavern @thehoothoots and the amazing stars of the video Scarlett, Wren, William, and Jacob. We feel so fortunate that have had the opportunity to work with some of Seattle’s finest up and comers. The future is bright, and there’s plenty of time left ❤️
