FOWLBOYS SS15 2021-2026 :( So I won’t insult your intelligence by spinning this as a dramatic farewell since we are in the midst of building our new diner at Capitol PJ. Although a quick cash grab would be nice in this climate (please come thru 🥹), just wanted to say a few words to honor our first love and the people who gave their blood sweat and tears for it. November 2021. I cant believe it’s been 5 years!! This store was our first brick and mortar, coming from our home based setup and a tiny cloud kitchen (iykyk). We were joining the big leagues, and this was when things were just opening up post lockdown. Jalan ss 15/4b was still quiet at the time, which made us even more nervous. But Alhamdulillah from the day our doors opened, we were floored by the immense response from all our day ones and also the ones who were fomo-ing. We kept the team small, not because we wanted to exactly but I guess we didn’t know better. In the early ss15 days, we were rotating between kitchen, floor and hq duties. Most of us didn’t get much sleep. And unfortunately this meant a drop in quality faced with the huge fanfare we got back then. We didn’t know how to scale. We lost the trust of many. The first few years was putting a bandaid on every problem. We’d do better for a bit then regress. Rinse and repeat. But looking back can’t say I have any regrets, because making those mistakes was the only real way to learn. There were many tough and uncomfortable situations we were put through and looking back I’m grateful…because real growth only comes once you’re outside your comfort zone. To the amazing team that worked alongside me during those days, I’m sorry for not being able to lead better. I was out of my depth and on some days it was truly the blind leading the blind. But thank u for giving it your all, this was a time that will always be part of my core memory. And thank you to all of you who came by, even once. You kept the lights on. This also marks the end of FOWLBOYS as we transition to full fledged Diners. Aaanyways - enjoy a little time capsule above from my phone and hope to see u during our last few days at SS15! Yours fowlever, Shaq

My Little Creative Space A little corner filled with artworks I’ve collected over the years, some I bought, some were gifts from artists and friends. I love surrounding myself with work made by people I admire. It’s my way of supporting artists, but it also reminds me why I create. Whenever I sit here, there’s always something on the wall that catches my eye and sparks an idea. A space that keeps me inspired, motivated, and creating. ❤️ Keep supporting artists. Keep creating. I can only tag 20 people per post for the images.. Here’s some I gonna add additionally on the caption… and a few other artists I may have missed. Apologies if I’ve forgotten your name!. @_sheryo @_skpn_ @leicastoresg @spesu_eki
