Back in 2024, 38 artists took on the challenge to create art in monochromatic order using the colors of the raaaainbowww! Artists were randomly selected for a color in order from Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Pink and Black&White, to create a painting or photograph depicting the meaning of the color that they were assigned. It is up to their interpretation, the world they imagined with their color and the story they decided to tell. Take a ride through this wonderland of hues, in their tints, tones and shades! Follow the artists in this order! ❤️ Luana @luana.g.m Warrrlock @johneblahan Cece @cece.illu Dana @almondmilkisnotgood Daydream @aspectsofadaydream 🧡 KLYN @strwbrrykaewi Freddie @filipagomes Froog @afroog Hotdog @hotdog.png Ethan Meyers @ethanmeyersart 💛 Cam @cmrnfx Calvin @1038calvin Kaleb @barelylivingooze jackflash @jackflash776 💚 Sonhdon @sonhdon Delling @delling.nemo Alex @xelvdvsv Slupo @slupo_tattoo Soto @oso2hundo 💙🩵 Luana honkachu @honkachu jaden & sof @fullmetaljaden | @by_little_sof Alexej Matejka @alexej_photo Jekein @jekein 💜 Luana yomunashi @yomunashi2 Ani @an7.ml Dragon @ dragonnek0 Chanty @strawhateologist 🩷 Jay Stream @jay.stream Zan @angelitozan Kwo @starrokuu Uyeon @random_land_on S.J. @shdjoh K.hana @cosmos_wheretogo 🖤🩶🤍 sev @reveremories KEEP @keep_hs L4PIN! @flying_bunns sophy @bluerocketship.png eyeball @eyeballsart

Art has always been more than colour on canvas it’s a mirror of who we are, what we feel, and what we refuse to be silent about. This beautiful art work of Jekein Lato-Unah, a Nigerian artist whose art refuses to whisper. Born from the vibrant chaos of Lagos, Jekein paints with purpose. Her women do not hide; they confront. Each line, curve, and hue speaks against the walls that try to contain them patriarchy, objectification, silence. Her paintings are not just portraits; they are protests, love letters, and loud declarations of identity. Through her art, Jekein reminds us that womanhood is not a subject to be framed it’s a force to be felt. At Arákẹ́ngẹ́, we celebrate artists like her storytellers who remind us that culture lives not only in tradition, but in every hand brave enough to create. Three pieces, five days, one wild experience. Appreciate everyone who showed up, stood still, showed love, or showed confusion — all part of it. Massive thank you to the organizers @plus234art @lagosphotofestival for giving me the space and opportunity to be part of something this solid. This is the first of many exhibitions to be birthed out of Stylish Sinner Studios. Can’t wait to give y’all a wholesome experience of what’s to come this year and beyond. Still don’t know why I can’t post up to 20 slides @instagram 😭👀. 🎶 Just Begun x Metallic Dreams @codenameknd_mh #WhatReallyIsLove #Plus234ArtFair #OneStepAtATime
