POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Being trusted by international, national, and regional organizations holds a lot of weight in our books because we never forget what it took to get here.

We count it an honor to design and facilitate convenings, as well as project manage major initiatives and special projects, such as this one for the United Way. 📚

We thank the United Way @unitedwaysela and GLRC Heads Todd Battiste @tbattiste and Renita Wooldridge for their amazing vision, leadership, and trust in @k.allen.consulting as one of the 2 prime firms guiding the next chapter of this city-wide literacy campaign and movement work! 💯

There are so many dynamic partners we get to engage with via UWSELA on a monthly basis in this year-long work, and this is a sneak peek carousel of pictures from work we supported via live facilitation earlier this month spotlighting some of those partners in action! KAC Consultants Candes, Jenny, and Krystal were the assigned team members for this engagement, and enjoyed every single minute with this convening of over 30 leaders committed to addressing existing gaps in grade-level literacy across our region.

Love you all and LOVE this work ❤️! @blackednola @kidsmartnola @policyinstla @gopropeller @nolalibrary @louisianakids and sssoooo many more…thank you for your amazing input, time, and dedication!

Project managing this major initiative to support creating a culture where literacy is rich, where youth and adults truly develop a love for reading, and a world where there are no social determinants to literacy is what it’s all about. As a team comprised of many former educational leaders and practitioners, this work hits home in more ways than one! 💯

#InvestingInOurYouth Jenny Ly joined @k.allen.consulting as an intern prior to COVID, and in July of 2023, she became a full-time, salaried employee of KAC and has been with us ever since! ❤️

She is a proud @possenolaalumni @possefoundation alum, and during POSSE’s 2026 Employer Luncheon, @k.allen.consulting was featured as an Employer Partner for our years for hiring POSSE interns and track record of welcoming 2 alum to full-time and part-time staff positions over the years.

Jenny represented our firm so beautifully, and represented herself and the rich lived experience and wisdom she holds as a New Orleans native, alum of this program, Tulane grad, an Asian-American woman, and a former outstanding educator who now serves thousands of people annually via the services we provide. You knocked this speaking engagement out of the park, Jenny! We love you! 🎉

✨ #LoveAlwaysWins Call it old school, but I was raised to believe that you should treat others the way you want to be treated. ❤️ Over the years that has meant pouring into not only our clients, but our team. Whether it was surprising the entire team with @beyonce Renaissance tickets or our staff retreat in Mexico a few years ago or bonuses or designer gifts or the abundance of PTO time and other perks @k.allen.consulting consistently provides, I believe that when you do right by people, it goes a long way…sometimes further internally than you could ever imagine. 🫶🏾 It’s the thought that counts.

Many CEOs focus exclusively on themselves. Not their teams. As a woman of faith, I move differently, and deep down, being in this work for nearly a decade, I believe it has been one of the ingredients dictating the favor God allows to rest on this business. 🙏🏾

This gifted mid-year wellness retreat was a sacred time for our entire team. We left so nourished in mind, body, and spirit, and truly renewed for the 2nd half of the year ahead.

Thank you, @hilton Hilton Austin for being so amazing to work with; @nelfamous @toofamousstudios for beautiful videography of our time together; Jenny @jeknee.ly for being an amazing partner in co-planning and executing this experience; @the.awakened.teacher for a beautiful inner work and healing session; @camdenandblue for the great elevated gift boxes you created and shipped for us; @lonestarranchtexas for being such amazing guides and for such wonderful hospitality for horseback riding; C. L. Butaud @clbutaud Wines for an awesome private wine tasting experience; and every member of our @k.allen.consulting team (those present & those who couldn’t make it) for a DYNAMIC first half of 2025! 🔥🔥🔥

P.S. I accidentally cut off a portion of the video, so check out my personal IG stories or KAC’s stories for the closing reflections/2nd half of it! Have a blessed day, y’all! ❤️

✨ #Part2 ‼️

This is the 2nd peek into our KAC Staff Wellness Retreat last month 🥰…In this 2nd video, we shout out the dynamic @the.awakened.teacher @lakaylune for one of the most powerful inner child & holistic healing and wellness sessions we have ever experienced! ❤️💯 Arlène is so dynamic, spiritually grounded, and moving in ALL she does! We cannot thank her enough for flying down from Brooklyn, NY to spend time with us as a team in this way 🙏🏾

Our core values are MORE than what’s mentioned in our captions and on our website; it’s what we practice day in and day out with our clients, but as an employer, @k.allen.consulting centers loving on our staff team just the same! ❤️🫶🏾💯…we are not your typical consulting firm, not just a standard employer, don’t have a typical CEO, and we’re ok with ALL of that! 😉

P.S. More content & special shout-outs to come! 💯

✨ #BehindTheScenes #KAC #StaffWellnessRetreat #Part1 After almost a decade of being in business (2025 is Year 8 for @k.allen.consulting ), we know that our success and sustainability never happened by chance, especially as a Black woman owned business founded with the origin story we have.

Being able to scale in particular has always required intentionality. It means creating the right conditions for yourself and for the people you work with to thrive. 💯 For years, we’ve done this, and closing Quarter 2 (June 2025), one example of this was providing an all-expense paid MidYear Self-Care & Wellness Retreat in Austin, Texas for our entire team of amazing employees and dynamic contractors (our partners within our KAC Consultant Network)! ❤️

While we are closed today, here is #Part1 (a sneak peek) of our time in Austin, TX 🥰…minus a few of our teammates who couldn’t make it that weekend. Stay tuned y’all for way more, including special shout-outs!!! | Our first shout goes to @nelfamous for such beautiful work capturing the magic of this nourishing trip for the mind, body, and spirit! This young man is the newest addition to our videography team and he killed it! His spirit and energy are unmatched.🔥

✨🔥At @k.allen.consulting , our impact is only as powerful as the team behind it 💯…and we are endlessly grateful for our partners 👉🏾 the extraordinary consultants who make up our national 2025 KAC Consultant Network. These professionals are more than consultants, y’all. ✨They are mission carriers, bridge builders, and change agents who live out KAC’s core values of care, excellence, and equity in every space they enter. ✨

Whether facilitating transformative retreats, designing equity-driven strategies, leading systems change, or equipping organizations with the tools to thrive, their brilliance, heart, and integrity shine through it all. ❤️🙏🏾

2025 has become our most successful year to date as a national management consulting firm, and without question, that is because of the people who stand with us in this work. 📌 To our KAC consultant family…thank you for leading boldly, serving thoughtfully, and building stronger systems with us every single day. We see you. We honor you. We couldn’t do this without you. ✔️

👉🏾👉🏾👉🏾 Can’t wait for next week’s getaway together! 🔥🔥🔥 #CountingDown 🥂🍃
