There is something powerful about seeing your own world reflected on screen. In Trinidad and Tobago, bringing films home to the @ttfilmfestival means giving audiences the chance to see our landscapes, hear our voices, recognize our experiences and connect with the stories that are uniquely ours. In Memory of Richard DeVerteuil 🕊️🧡 We lost a truly special person and one of the protagonists of Trinitario – On the Edge. We are deeply grateful that Richard shared his kind spirit, his wisdom, and his love for cocoa farming with us. It was a privilege getting to know him at his beautiful estate - San Antonio Estate - and witnessing his dedication to caring for the land, and Trinitario Cocoa. Richard once told us: “I will go until I cannot go anymore.” And that is exactly what he did. He leaves behind a legacy of perseverance and inspiration, one that we’re honored to share with you 🙏✨ Thank you, Richard, for everything you shared with us. 🤎🌱 Our deepest condolences and love to his family and to all who knew him. Your legacy lives on.

So humbled and happy that not just one, but two of our babies have been officially selected for this year’s @greenscreentt Film Festival in Trinidad & Tobago! 🎥🌿 If you’re around, make sure to catch the screenings tomorrow! “XE’IL – Threads of Culture, Tradition and Community” is a short doc celebrating indigenous Maya women in Southern Belize, empowered through XE’IL, a social entrepreneurship initiative funded by the CIIF Caribbean Development Bank.
