@cocodemerfragrance Seychelles Press Trip Day 6 part 2 - After a lovely morning at the Coco de Mer Collection atelier we were ferried by @creoletravelservices to the nearby @takamaka_rum distillery to see how this artisanal rum producer, which features rum made with local, organic sugarcane bought from nearby family farms. Retha, one of the founding partners of the rum distillery, shared the history of the brand and the land that it was on. We got to visit their traditional medicinal herb garden, meet with their Master Distiller and taste their delicious rums, some made with coconut, pineapple or local spices. Next @tourismseychelles invited us to visit @lo_brizan.seychelles and we enjoyed a beautiful lunch with an ocean view. Nourished and hydrated we were excited to check in to the picturesque @mangohouseseychelles The former home of famed photographer Gian Paolo Barbieri, and now a boutique hotel with only 41 rooms and villas, sits on a stunning bay and features modern interiors and stunning dining options. In the evening we enjoyed a dinner at the resort’s Kokoye restaurant, including a visit by Tourism Secretary Sherin Francis, @jele.ulje and @sharon_n_bonne We enjoyed a beautiful Japanese meal featuring fresh Seychelles fish by Chef Mohamed. The stars were out as @kinyaclaiborne @edeani and I enjoyed a nightcap on our last night in paradise.
