Here’s the final phrase from my last workshop class. Everything we worked on in the previous exercises leads to this.

I always build my classes backwards from the final phrase, using it as a blueprint. Each exercise introduces or develops something that eventually comes together in the final phrase, creating a thread throughout the class rather than a series of unrelated exercises. ❤️

Dancer: @jemima_sparrow 🥰❤️always there to kill it !

Thank you for bringing so much inspiration, energy and incredible teaching to TLW throughout the week.

A huge thank you too to our TLW faculty teachers, Ella Rose Green and Charlotte Fernandes, and our brilliant assistants, Lara Mellum and Tobin Marshall, for everything they brought to the Intensive.

And finally, congratulations to our Summer Intensive award winners ⭐

I’ve been teaching this as a first class recently, and I really love how much space this exercise gives dancers to connect back to themselves.

There’s something almost meditative about it the repetition, the rhythm, the breath within the movement.

With my beautiful former student @jemima_sparrow ❤️🥰
