My first byline for the Mail & Guardian and it’s the lead in the Arts section. I talk about my experience filming ‘Epilogue’, a film by @jemini48hfp for the @jhb48hfp. The short film is screening today at @sterkinekor Mall of Africa. So excited for everyone to see it! 🥹😆

Do get yourself a copy of this week’s M&G or read it online at mg.co.za

Make a film in 48 hours, they said. It will be fun, they said.

They were right.

Coffee-fuelled brainstorm sessions, 15-hour filming days, power outages, stolen phones, frigid temperatures, dedicated people, striking performances, endless energy, paperwork, cupcakes, and deadlines, deadlines, deadlines.

But in the end… we made a movie.

Can’t wait for the world to see it.
