RACE DAY 2 🏁

What a day… we made it to the end of the @qldrally Imbil Rally.

During the first stage of the day, we had a little ‘off’. With the help of Ethan, we managed to get the car back on the road quickly, and complete the rally.

We’re all just glad we’re okay, and the car managed to make it out with minimal damage (as shown in slide #3).

Despite the chaos, we were tracking really well for day 1, where we placed 3rd in class and 7th outright. After the crash on day 2 we placed 29th outright, with our penalty of 30mins after making it to the next stage late.

Now the real challenge… to get the car sorted before our next trip to Victoria in two weeks for Marysville Stages. 171 competitive km.

Lazer Rally of the Bay treated us well ☀️

Outright 14th, 10th in 4WD Class. 6th gravel rally ever.

Some ups and downs as expected, but we’re super happy with how we went. Again, the car is feeling so much better with the recent upgrades, it’s making all the difference.

What an incredible weekend. We were able to keep up a much faster pace than our previous blind rallies. We are a big fan of full pace notes to say the least.

Great experience, so far, this is our fifth gravel rally, and first time writing pace notes from scratch.

A great weekend of racing. @naroomaforestrally you were a blast 👊
