First off, I wanted to shout out max @djmaxacal and Scott @steezescooters for all the hospitality, great times and most important of things helping me “smell the rainbow” in Florida!!! This will be a trip I will never forget, will always talk about, and genuinely want to relish forever. To be able to say 10 skateparks, would have been good enough for Seth and I! (5 maybe for Seth 😂) But not 40, not 50, but we managed to travel to 60 skateparks! All across Florida dodging hurricanes and finding our path there! If it was raining and we couldn’t ride anywhere in Florida, we go thrifting all day and I ended up with some absolute bangers!!! Trying Florida/Southern things like the Mel Fisher museum, boiled peanuts, fresh tropical fruits and of course Buc’eesss! Oh the things we can really taste! Then after 60 skateparks you think we chill? Naw bro. Naw we go and hit Disney world for our final two days, which was awesome because it was Seth’s first Disney experience!! He was actually blown away and made me feel like a kid watching his reactions! For how good Seth can maneuver on a scooter, the man cannot do rollercoasters! I still don’t believe that! Again you think the trip is done? Lol nope. Seth and I go back to Cali. Go enjoy a day on the pacific coast and enjoy the sunshine of Southern California! Then a day later my mom picks us up and we go to Bakersfield. Enjoy some skateparks and two or so days in Bakersfield! Finally I start up my truck, (sorry for the language) and truck just shits on me. & I had 6 days to figure something out. Was told it probably wasn’t worth fixing because it will probably happen again soon. So I looked in CA for some cheaper older cars. Did see some older good ones in CA but on the steeper end or alot more miles. But saw a moment of opportunity after Scott showed me an opportunity. Asking on $10-$12k less in Florida for the type of car I was looking at then they were asking in CA. Lol So I flew back to Florida and drove the car back, and I got back to work sooner a week sooner… Just again wanted to shout out Scott for this crazy adventure. Mentoring me in the right ways and more importantly being Fathja ❤️ imma savor all of it.
