It feels like just yesterday I was holding my first born, Adam, for the very first time. Being a first time mom changed me to my core in ways I never could’ve imagined.… The intense love and protectiveness that I never experienced before.
And now becoming a grandmother for the very first time echoes so many of these same feelings of becoming a mother. And watching you, Adam become a first time dad and see you experience this change in yourself it’s so special.

The fierce love, the constant wonder of every tiny milestone, the shared joy and witnessing your growth, Sloane – it’s also incredibly familiar, yet uniquely special.

Being a grandmother, however, is in so many ways different than being a mother. You don’t have the stress and obligations of working, managing a household, being the disciplinarian and navigating the difficulties of parenting.

I have the freedom to enjoy you without many of life‘s distractions and obligations. This brings out a different side in me that I know my kids have never seen.

Let’s just say my tone is now very gentle— I am sure Adam and my three other kids will attest to this softer, more playful person where rules are negotiable, a person with a whole lot more patience, than they have ever seen—
and I’m free to be fun and silly and indulge Sloane with all my attention.

I know you, Adam and your three siblings are thinking.
“WTH!! This is absolutely NOT the same woman that raised me”
😂😂😂

Happy first birthday, Sloane. I can’t wait to celebrate with you this weekend at your party 🎊🎉 🎂 🎈

Do you need to clear heaviness? Today’s sound bath participants definitely needed some with everything going on these days. #election #health #cancer #worries #work #trump #maga #internationalrelations . Grateful for #meditation #soundbath #soundhealing #gong #korea and #friends to help us #relax and #clear together.

Feel free to forward to whoever needs it.

Grateful for this impromptu #soundbath. @laura.roe.stevens reached out yesterday asking for a gathering and it seemed aligned so we got it done. It’s wonderful that, in these busy times, people make healing and relaxation a priority. But then again, with what’s going on in the world, in minds and bodies, it’s not surprising… In fact, I’ve been getting requests especially after the election .

This sound bath was more of a clearing than usual. I hadn’t used the gong in a while but today it was called for to remove what prevents us from Being, Seeing and Hearing. Time to wake up!

✨🙏✨🕊️✨🌟✨
