Today is World IVF Day. Everything this day stands for and represents means EVERYTHING to us. 🫶🏽

Our IVF Journey on paper…

8 IUIs (6 - Marcie, 2 - Ali)
5 egg retrievals
5 transfers
1 cyst aspiration
1 myomectomy surgery
0 insurance coverage
$ 6 figures +
Hundreds of shots, pills, meds, supplements
Too many blood draws to count
5 two week waits
The holding your breath, hoping, praying this time your dreams come true
Hoping for good news but preparing your heart for devastation
4 positive pregnancy tests
4 appointments in small ultrasound rooms that ended in the words “I’m sorry…”
4 D&Cs
8 embryos we will always think of, will always be a part of our story and will never forget ❤️

1 39.999 year old egg
1 PGT tested normal embryo
1 transfer on Valentine’s Day 2024
9 months of holding our breath - every bathroom trip, every pain, every cramp, every weird feeling, every symptom, every doctors appt, every blood draw, every phone call, every ultrasound, every genetic test, every measurement, every doppler, every monitoring appt, every single second until we heard his cry…

Our beautiful baby boy - Hudson Maverick. 🩵

Our rainbow baby. 🌈 Our miracle. Our embryo that DID.

I have no idea how we didn’t give up. I have no idea how we got so lucky. Our journey. Beginning to end. All of the pain, all of the heartbreak. It was all worth it.

Thank you science. Thank you doctors. Thank you IVF. Thank you for our family. 🥹

Happy World IVF Day 🫶🏽💉
