🏡Lubbock Market Numbers🏡

The Lubbock housing market remains steady! New listings increased 22% compared to last year, providing more inventory in Lubbock and creating some great opportunities for buyers!

For sellers, homes are taking a little longer to sell, averaging 56 days on market, which means pricing, preparation, and presentation matter more than ever!

Whether you’re buying or selling, it’s important to work with an agent who knows the numbers, understands what they mean, and will give you honest, informed guidance throughout the process!

We know the numbers!!! Call us today! ☎️

The JCT team covered some miles over Labor Day weekend! 🚗☀️

Jen watched her boys play under the Friday night lights before heading to Possum Kingdom, Cory spent the weekend with friends in Brazoria, Kendra enjoyed time with family at Lake Palestine, and Katy traveled to Norman for OU’s season opener and time with Beckham as he settles into his freshman year,

Different destinations, but the same kind of weekend—family, friends, football and making memories. ❤️ We hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend!

To some it’s just a picture of people sitting in a room. To me, it’s a room full of some of my most favorite people I’ve met since moving to Texas. It’s agents that are top in our region, yet humble and so kind. Who have encouraged, referred, and taught me so much.

More than anything, it’s room full of people who depend on the Lord in business and in life. These are some of the people I want to follow and model after! These are my “Michael Jordan’s” of Real estate!

The Power of Community! That’s what makes environments like this so powerful. When you step into a room full of brilliant minds who are pushing the envelope, raising the bar, and challenging each other to think bigger, you can’t help but level up. They challenge my beliefs and my work ethic. My goals feel more attainable!
It’s a reminder that success isn’t an individual solo act, it’s a team sport fueled by shared knowledge and ambition.

So what’s the takeaway? Don’t seek spaces where you’re the smartest or have all the answers! Seek spaces that push you to grow, ask better questions, and become better than you were yesterday.

Can’t wait to do it again next week! ✌️ Love you @kellerwilliamsrealtylubbock

Yesterday was a good day on the green for an even better cause. ⛳️💚

The JCT had the privilege of volunteering at the Fore The One Golf Tournament, supporting the important work @onevoicelbk is doing right here in our community.

We’re always grateful for opportunities to step outside the office, serve alongside others, and support organizations making a real difference.

Great people, a great cause, and a day well spent. 🤍

“I am because we are”
What an honor to gather leaders in our market center for an African dinner.

A beautiful night with rain, just how it would be in Cameroon Africa, incredible company, laughter, smiles, joy, a curated African meal complete with Egusi soup from Vizos, and encouraging conversation of meaning. Truly an experience worth having.

Our inspirational guest, Sixtus Atabong shared his story of grit, gratitude, persistence, and the beauty of community! Sixtus grew up in Africa. His parents sold their family farm, a huge sacrifice, to send him to America to get an education. After so many set backs, working multiple jobs, and multiple cities ,Sixtus came to Lubbock. He is now a Physicians Assistant & started a non- profit called Purpose Medical Mission. PMM provides long-term sustainable healthcare & education to areas of poverty around the world. This organization built a hospital back in Sixtus’ home village and clinics in Guatemala, Nicaragua, DRC, Jamaica and Bahamas. Sixtus gives credit to many people along his journey that has made him who he is and been instrumental in what has been accomplished.

Community is so important. Cultivate it, build people up, look for the good, and go after something bigger than yourself.

Oh how grateful I am for the amazing leaders I am surrounded by: our market center leadership team, our agent leadership council, our coaches, and market leaders.

One of my favorite quotes from Sixtus’s book: My Father’s Gift

“God doesn’t take away our struggles but instead teaches that through perseverance comes growth. When we struggle through life, we gain the tools we need to withstand obstacles. The harder the fall, the more we remember and gain the experience needed to fight. We are asked to utilize these tools to assist others who may need a little push to get to their destination.”
