Sure, it's my account, but 75% involves my dog and cat...so does that mean it's still my account?

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Hellooooooo — lately I’ve had multiple messages checking in on me, because I was so active on this account with my running any everything. So here is an update!
.
Sadly, I’m not running anymore. All of the ankle/toe things I was struggling with caught up with me. I saw chiropractor, sports chiropractor, foot/ankle orthopedic specialist, xray, specialized ultrasound, lots of KT tape, etc, and not only did nothing work, but everyone is like 🤷🏻‍♀️ Even a mile flares it, so not worth it 😭
.
Otherwise…we adopted a black kitten from the shelter a year ago, and OMG she is adorable ( @ps.katniss ). My dog, Barai, passed at 17 in November…it was terrible and we miss her so much. In February of this year, we adopted a neighborhood stray…super long story, but a happy ending! (Oddly he reminds us a lot of Barai)
.
While I loved my job, the stress and strain it put on my life got to be WAY too much. So 10-days shy of my 10-year anniversary there, I quit. I’ve not been working since then, and it has been glorious to just have me-time.
.
In November, I started school for surgical technology. Aka scrub tech, the person who stands side by side with the surgeon in the OR. I start clinicals late this year, and I’ll be done with the program in April of next year. I’m super excited about this!
.
I’ve started a plant addiction, so my house has a lot more greenery and oxygen than ever before. Now if I could just organize them all the way I imagine…
.
Soooo, that’s the update! If anyone wants to follow me on my personal account, it’s @jenewalk. Nothing exciting at all, but there you have it. Miss you all, and especially my Denver race people!

So glad that my dad and sister were able to visit Denver for a long weekend! After almost 2 years, it was sooooooo good to see them. We went to a Rockies v. Dodgers game (we lost so badly, but got to see a grand slam!), botanic gardens, St. Mary’s Glacier, eat a lot of good food, and more! Come back!

Had a blast training in the park this eve. I cannot believe summer is almost over 😧. On a happier note I got to meet Julie and her daughter in real life. She's one of my DPS #moveatworkchallenge humans and she saw me training and decided to come say hi. I 💜 when that happens!!! Its so cool to meet my participants in real life!
