Bachelor’s degree acquired 🎓

Almost the hardest thing I have ever accomplished (second to having twins of course). Oh my am I glad to be DONE! I always knew I would graduate college, until I wasn’t so sure… though life threw us quite the curveball, we made it work.

Student teaching pregnant with twins, then returning a week postpartum to finish my days. I have worked so hard for this moment, for my family but more importantly for myself. I am so thankful for my parents, friends and family who have supported me through this journey. Attending classes and an internship with two babies was rough, but because of my crew, we survived. Though I have survived college, we are still surviving the twin life. I plan to continue watching over my babies a little while longer before jumping into a classroom.

It is easy to be overwhelmed by all that is wrong in the world. But what if we each made a commitment to do something that made someone else’s life a little bit better? Thank you to all the family, friends, and neighbors that supported my girl @milan_lira12 in making life a little bit better for families in our community. In a week’s time, with your support, Milan was able to raise over $600 that was used to purchase snacks, undergarments, socks, hoodies, beanies, gloves, blankets, toiletries, diapers, and kids clothes. She also collected about ten bags of gently used and new shoes and clothes.
