I remember the first time I saw Liz Johnson @lizziej502 bowl. It was at the Coca-Cola tournament in Tucson, Arizona. It was 1992.

She was a youth bowler. She won.
And I still remember how in awe I was.

Even back then, Liz carried herself with the kind of calm confidence that made you stop and watch. She was already something special. And now — all these years later — she’s officially in the PWBA Hall of Fame.

It’s hard to put into words what it meant to share the lanes with her on Team USA. To learn from her, to be inspired by her, and to now witness her being honored the way she deserves — it was emotional. She paved the way for so many of us. Her legacy is already legendary. And she’ll go down as one of the greatest to ever do it.

Shannon O’Keefe @shannonokeefe800 being inducted into the USBC Hall of Fame was an honor to see. We’ve battled on the lanes. We’ve stood side by side in Team USA uniforms. We’ve pushed each other, celebrated each other, and I’ve admired her work ethic for years. She’s relentless in the best way. Focused. Passionate. Driven. And her impact on this sport is undeniable.

Being in the room to witness these moments — for two women who have meant so much to my career — was something I’ll never forget.

So proud. So inspired. So grateful I got to be there.
Legends, both of them.

A main reason I love the sport of bowling: you get to meet the pros that shape the game to what it is now. PWBA opened up their 10th anniversary season in Topeka. I got to meet two role models of mine, Crystal Elliott and Verity Crawley. Plus also getting to bowl with some playmakers. I learned so much about the game and also was able to get a view of what it’s like to be a pro. The advice I was given today was something I will remember forever.

2024 Midwest USA Adult-Junior Doubles Championships - Top 12 Finish with Alexis Turner! Snuck into the cut and got some bonus baker bowling, coming up just short of the top 8. Pride Dynasty did most of the work in qualifying with some Nuclear Forge for the baker portion. Can’t wait for the next one! #motivbowling #genesisbowling #viseinserts
