Another year at Wild + Free.

Another weekend of feeling encouraged, loved, and equipped to head back home to my babies.

So many conversations this weekend centered around the importance of having your people, and I am so incredibly thankful for the village I have at home. The women who encourage me, pray for me, walk alongside me, and remind me I don’t have to do this alone.

And I’m just as thankful for this beautiful village of women from all over who gather together once a year to remind one another: we can do this.

Now I’m headed home to my hubby and babies, feeling refreshed and ready to step back into exactly what I was created to do.

Be a mama.
Teach them.
Learn with them.
Love them well.

And do it all with the Lord leading me every step of the way.

So thankful for this weekend, this community, and the calling of motherhood.

“Family” reunion! It only took 8 months of planning, a mediation in Cookeville and a random Mexican restaurant in Gordonsville, TN to make this college roomie reunification happen!! BEYOND worth it!!!

🎉 Celebrating 21 years of marriage today with my lovely, @jenmcgowan !

Our marriage is growing into adulthood but this girl still makes me feel like a 21 year old!

Her smile, her laugh, her sweetness! Her grit, commitment, her honesty and loyalty! So much to love!

I think the only thing that’s wrong with her is her eyesight and her hearing because everyone around her keeps telling her she never ages but she doesn’t believe us. Haha!

She’s my gorgeous bride - more beautiful than ever! It’s been so long that I don’t even remember life before “us”!

For the first time ever a child drew a picture of me while I was speaking! 😁🧐

I considered getting it turned in a toy by one of those companies that take drawings from children and bring them to life ➡️😂😬

It was another wonderful year at @fpeahomeschool_fl . It’s the largest homeschool convention in the world! And I loved that so many of my friends were there this year. ❤️

Should we start selling a Ginny Speaks doll? Ginny dolls were popular in the 1950s. Maybe I could bring them back… 😂😂🤪
