20 years at Lehmann Maupin💙

It’s hard to put two decades into words. When I look back, I’m most grateful for the people—the incredible colleagues who have become friends, mentors and family, and the artists whose vision, trust and work have shaped my career in ways I could never have imagined.

I’ve had the extraordinary privilege of growing alongside this gallery, witnessing so many moments of change, taking risks, celebrating successes, navigating challenges, and sharing countless unforgettable experiences along the way.

To the artists who have trusted me, the collectors who have become friends, and especially to my colleagues who have made these 20 years so meaningful: thank you!!!

2025 Miami Art Basel Photo Dump ☀️

Lots of art and plenty of selfies. @artbasel, @untitledartfairs, @newartdealers, @pamm, @tiffanyandco, etc…it was all amazing. I need to go back through my stories and save them in a highlight because there were so many Latinx and LatAm artists you should know and follow!

And I’m so happy I got to do all this with my beautiful cousin, @kelly_vanegas. Love you cousin!

1️⃣ & 2️⃣ ‘Blind Blue Landscape’ (2009) by @Teresita.Fernandez at the @Benesse_ArtSite in Naoshima, Japan. Commissioned by the Benesse Art Site, the work is made up of thousands of small, handmade mirrored glass cubes that reflect and distort the surroundings, making each tiny mirror like a miniature landscape painting.

3️⃣ @DoHoSuhStudio with his ‘Hub’ installation in the inaugural exhibition at the Naoshima New Museum of Art in Japan.

4️⃣ Tammy Nguyen (@tammowhammo) gives a tour of her New York exhibition during @The_ADAA’s annual Chelsea Gallery Walk.

🌈 Nothing short of magical to see Do Ho Suh’s vision come to life at Tate Modern. I visited his studio a couple of years ago, as he was carefully selecting colors for what would become this monumental installation—watching him work with such quiet precision and deep intention was unforgettable. To now walk through these luminous, hand-sewn corridors—spaces suspended between memory and place—feels like stepping into a dream. A powerful meditation on home, belonging, and the traces we leave behind.

Oh Memphis! Thank you for the support and love last night at the opening of “Away with the Tides” @brooksmuseum .

Special shout out to the Memphis curator, my amazing guide, and newest friend @c.rosesmith , the divine chief curator @rosamundgarrett for bringing joy to the community, my Spelman sisters, friends and the city of Memphis itself.

I had never been to Memphis before but it has surely become one of my favorite cities. The culture, kindness and history was so enriching. And no one told me about the food!

Can’t wait to return Aug 14th and 15th for a talk and other programs. Look forward to possibly seeing you there❤️

✨LATE POST✨ The annual @latinxprojnyu party/fundraiser supporting the org and honoring @jvaldesart & Tomás Ybarra-Frausto was EPIC. I was looking forward to this fiesta for months. Met up with all my brilliant friends, colleagues, inspirations. Many congratulations to the so deserving and talented honorees. Love and admire you all and can’t wait for next year! 🎉
