⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 𝐌𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 Mermaids, pirates, adventure, political betrayal, and found family. Like truly, what isn't to love??? This was such an easy and captivating read. It was so enjoyable. I love all books pirate and this one did not disappoint!! It started off to captivating and kept me enthralled through the book. I thought the character arcs were well written! There were small areas that the writing may have a felt a little bit wordy, but overall, the story was a nice read. 🫶🏻 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐛 A young woman caged in rock and salt will rise as something the world has forgotten. Enslaved in the pearl-diving caverns of Jeju,a nameless young woman survives on nothing but prying oysters and the sisterhood of the women beside her. Every day is the same—shells cracked open, pearls stolen for masters who own their labor and their silence. When a ship arrives and a pirate captain with storm-blue eyes saves her, everything she believes about her small, brokenlife begins to unravel. He carries secrets bound in blood and a bone-deep loyalty to a crown. Something ancient is stirring beneath seven kingdoms bound by seven seas—old gods, older debts, and a war that never truly ended. A woman with no name may be the only thing standing between salvation and ruin. Freedom was only the beginning. Now she must become what she was always meant to be. A romantasy of stolen names, ocean-deep secrets, and a love written into the bones of the world. ARC REVIEW RELEASE DATE: SEPTEMBER 10th, 2026 3.5⭐️ A journey through the Seven seas, Seven kingdoms and entire life times to find family, love and one-self. Seaborn and the Seven seas is an adventure full of mythology, the good and the bad of human kind and the realizing the strength within. The premise of the book is so incredibly captivating - mermaids, pirates, sea monsters, gods and the endless fight between good and evil. And it delivers on so many of the fronts. The langauge used is beautiful, the characters feel deeply and fight for the good, through unimaginable hardships and I really, truly wished I could have loved the book more, but I also want to be honest. 1) I needed more of the mythology. The premise of mermaids from Korean mythology is so interesting I would have loved to learn more a about their lore. Also all of the gods and other races living in these Seven kingdoms - I really craved more. Perhaps a voyage through all realms before we even neared a finally. 2) I wished for more sea voyage. With how it was written, it felt like all Seven Seas and Seven kingdoms were maximum 2 day travel apart from each other. A pirate fantasy, for me, calls for more sea travel, more epic sea monsters, bearing harsh storms or battles on the water, ship sieges etc. 3) Both of the above lead to my third gripe with the book - deep relationships seemed to develop in days or even short encounters. A longer voyage, more things survived together would make the bond even more believable and real. It is a good read, it read fast and easy, but I just wished for more. Big thanks to the author and the marketing team for letting me read the book in advance. #arcreview #arcreadersofinstagram #pirateromance #mermaidromance #seabornandthesevenseas
