This transformation was a labor of love ✨

Our client came all the way from Florida to see Jen because she trusted Brush with her hair before she moved—and couldn’t find anyone willing to take on the process.

She had years of dark color built up on her ends, which meant multiple rounds of stripping color over about 3.5 hours before we could even begin creating the final look. Jen then went back in with a deeper lowlight to mimic her natural root and toned everything to this gorgeous silver.

The entire transformation took about 7 hours… and when we were done, she cried tears of joy 🥹

The best part? Her hair started out dry and frazzled, but finished soft, silky, and healthy-looking.

Good hair takes patience, trust, and a stylist willing to put in the work—and we’re so honored she came back to Brush for it 💛

The process ain't always pretty, but our results speak for themselves.

Also, that's why our backs hurt 97% of our waking lives 🤣

Summer is coming. Who needs a hair refresh? 🙋‍♀️

Employee of the year ❤️

Thanks, @sean.harkins.10 for keeping us up and running, no matter what! Show Sean some love in the comments for all his behind the chair work, and all for $0 an hour!

We asked a few clients how much they thought their stylist’s shears cost… and the guesses were hysterical. 😅

$50
$65.
One brave soul said $80.

Meanwhile, professional shears are one of the most expensive tools of the trade. They’re designed for precision, comfort, and to cut hair cleanly without damaging it — which is why they cost a lot more than the scissors in your kitchen drawer.

The reactions when we told them the real price? Absolutely priceless. ✂️
