She works her butt off, loves her people well, and would do just about anything for her family, friends, and clients. One of my favorite things about her is seeing how much she genuinely loves her clients and how passionate she gets about every session and every project she takes on. She puts her whole heart into everything she does!

I am so lucky that she is not only my mom, but also my best friend. From helping me plan my wedding to always showing up when I need her, she truly is one of a kind.

Watching these two graduate together within THREE years of each other feels so special 🎓🤍

One is my daughter, Jenna, and one has become like a bonus daughter to our family over the years, McKenna. Seeing their friendship grow alongside all their hard work, big dreams, and accomplishments has been such a gift.

We are so proud of the incredible young women they’ve become and can’t wait to see what God has ahead for both of them ✨

My baby girl is married 🤍

It’s hard to believe it’s already been almost a month since this beautiful day. Looking back through these photos still brings all the emotions — joy, gratitude, happy tears, and so much love. Watching my sweet girl marry her best friend was one of the greatest gifts as a mom.

Chris and I truly gained such a wonderful son-in-love, and seeing all of our kids loving on each other throughout the day made my heart so full. There’s something incredibly special about watching your children grow into lifelong friendships as siblings.

We are so thankful to share this season with Tim & Lisa and the entire Hochhalter family. What a blessing this new chapter has already been ❤️

This weekend was a truly special event for the Tavarez family…

Our sweet Mikayla — my daughter who has been part of the LTP family for over a decade, who’s has assisted on countless sessions and numerous weddings — had her very own surprise proposal session! 💍✨

Her fiancé, Caleb, knows her heart so well. He planned the most thoughtful evening to make her feel loved and celebrated, bringing together both of our families — including all of Mikayla’s siblings and dear friends who are like family. (No small feat these days!) It was such a joy to see everyone gathered to share in this beautiful moment.

This darling girl has always had a gift for making others feel special — Many of you’ve probably experience this even on your special day with bubbly redhead helping to serve you with a happy heart. Or she’s how she loves on your little ones, in the classroom or serving at church. This time, it was her turn to be celebrated… and Caleb absolutely nailed it! 🙌🏻 Mission accomplished!

We absolutely adore Caleb’s amazing family. If I have to share my sweet girl, this is the family I’d be honored to share her with. So incredibly thankful for all of them. ❤️

Merry Christmas from us Tavarez’s!!!!

Our family’s 2024 Highlights:

⭐️My honey and I celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary! We’re keeping busy with our wonderful four kids 🥰

⭐️Mikayla finished college and started her career in education and continuing to nanny (🍎🚙🏡)

⭐️Jenna’s working multiple jobs while powering through college - she’s on track to finish her Political Science degree a year early! 🥳

⭐️Logan, our high school senior, is balancing sports (🏈🏀) with work, staying injury-free, and planning his future. Can’t believe he’s graduating soon!

⭐️Gabriel, our sophomore, played football this year and helps with our pets. He’s excited to start driving soon! 🏈🐾

We’re looking forward to all the adventures 2025 will bring! ♥️

Sometimes I bring the whole family to work with me 😆. Well, not exactly, but I did bring everyone up for an impromptu photo session right before my clients arrived for their travel session. My parents-in-love were visiting from the East Coast, and I wanted to capture some precious moments with their nearly grown grandkids. It had been about 7 years since our last formal session with grandkids and grandparents - far too long! As the kids become young adults, it gets much harder to gather everyone together due to work, school, and sports commitments. These special times together have become a precious treasure.

Looking back at our last formal session, the boys were tiny - and now the grandparents look tiny compared to how tall their grandsons have grown!

Typical photographer’s children 🫣🤦🏼‍♀️... They might not pose perfectly for an artistic shot, but what I get instead is pure fun and laughter. My kids had their grandparents (especially Papa) breaking into laughter with their shenanigans... and I’ll treasure these special memories forever!

Any Swifties around here?? Well…. the Tavarez household has several!!💝

Can you excuse the iPhone photos for one sappy, fun post?!?! 🫣

One of my daughters is leaving for college this week!!! (there might be one more sappy post coming….this is hard week on this mama 😢😵‍💫🙃)

I was telling my husband earlier this summer, I feel like I made a huge mom fail that I didn’t even attempt to get tickets with the girls. He encouraged me to look which surprised me, (we usually aren’t THIS spontaneous) Lo and behold I was able to get 3 tickets making it a VERY fun girls trip!!! My Jenna’s first concert with her favorite artist 🤩 it wasn’t just any night but the ablum release of 1989 TV 🩵🥳

It was delightful to spend time with my ladies and watching their surprised faces was so very memorable!

In the business world, I try to make it all about the experience to create an amazing memory. Well this was one experience I hope my girls will remember for a very long time. This mama loves these ladies soooo sooo very much 🫶🏻
