Are you willing to give up, to go up?

Most people aren’t, shit I wasn’t.... but I had no choice.

Last year was one of the hardest years health wise. I started my revise diet in fall/winter 2019.

As covid hit, I was also going through a divorce, lost my job and was struggling on my reverse diet of binging mixed with massive amounts of cardio.

I felt like shit, was tired, couldn’t get a pump, was pushing food to grow while over looking vital biofeedback

I ended up finding out I had a wonderful case of Hashi and SIBO topped off with serious metabolic resistance and hormone dysfunction.

I remember thinking to myself I want to heal but I am not willing to in weight ... 😂

Clearly I didn’t realize what it was going to take.

I started working with my coach @scoobyprep1_ifbbpro in fall 2020 - 1 year after my shows and 1 year too late, better late than never!

It took time, getting uncomfortable, letting go, and learning to love myself in all shapes and sizes.
One of the hardest things I ever had to do but I feel worlds better and I learned some valuable lessons:

1-Confidence is a mindset.

2-My beauty isn’t attached to a body comp.

3-I had serious control issues that manifested through food and diet.

4- The body is an amazing healing machine, if you focus on rest, recovery and have a good guide.

Left - July 2020
Middle - Dec 2020
Right - May 2020

We are working on a full body region and I am the same weight in the middle and the right pic, forever proving the scale doesn’t always tell the tail!

We don’t always get what we want and want what we get but there seems to be a bigger picture beyond it all.

Everyday we have a choice of how we look at “stressors” in our life, the way we choose to deal with these is called “stress management”

When it comes to myself and working with my clients we have to be realistic on what things we can change and have control over and what things we cannot change but have control over how we react, two totally different thing...

One leaves us hopeless and one will empower you.

Today I challenge you to show your stressors who the boss is, get up, get out and get mother-fckin-empowered!

Have a blessed day!

Fake it till you make it.

Acting as if.

Living the future you.

I don’t care how you want say it, nothing will change unless you start to do it.
